  • The REACH HIGH Scholars Programme – Post-Doctoral Grants

    Post-Doctoral Research forms an increasingly important part of any country's economic and social agenda. Through this post graduate research, there will be more investment in human capital with a focus on emerging labour markets, including areas of green, digital, STEM, smart specialization and innovation and other sectors addressing the evolving development needs and challenges characterizing Maltese society, in line with Malta’s national priorities.
     
    This project maybe co financed by the European Union under the ESF+

     

  • Achieve 360

    Achieve 360 – Excellence in Sport and Education 2026 is intended to support students pursuing a post-secondary course leading to the Matriculation Certificate, while simultaneously undertaking structured training in their Sport discipline at the Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS).

  • Get Qualified [2026]

    Get Qualified supports the personal and professional development of individuals seeking to enhance their knowledge through certifications and qualifications required by Industry.

  • GET Qualified 2017-2024 (Teachers/Institutes Form)

    GET QUALIFIED is an initiative that supports the personal development of individuals for the achievement of qualifications by industry. The incentive is applicable to individuals following a course of studies leading to a certification, diploma, degree or post-graduate certificate. Upon successful completion the student will benfit from a tax credit enabling them to recover part of the costs incurred.
  • Live the Language

    The Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR) has recently launched the Live the Language Grants Scheme to provide young people between 11 and 21 years old with the possibility to pursue language training in the respective native country.

  • Malta Government Undergraduate Scheme

    This scheme aims at providing more opportunities to further the choice of undergraduate degrees/qualifications up to MQF Level 6 and including Bachelor Degrees and vocational qualifications, classified as Level 6 or equivalent under the Malta Qualification Framework (MQF).

    The Government is extending the financial support available to undergraduate students at the University of Malta and MCAST, to other students undertaking equivalent studies at other institutions leading to officially recognised local and foreign MQF Level 6 qualification.

  • Scholarships Abroad

    The Scholarships Application Form has to be filled in by those applying for a scholarship which has been offered by a foreign country or a foreign organisation through the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Tourism. Such scholarships are published on the Ministry’s website in the Scholarship’s section. In this section one can also find the application form. If the applicant is not a student, this application has to be endorsed by his or her employer in order to be valid
  • Tertiary Education Scholarship Scheme (TESS)

    The Tertiary Education Scholarships Scheme (TESS) is intended to support good quality tertiary education at MQF Level 7 and MQF Level 8 and to seek to contribute towards the Maltese labour market with the right skilled individuals. The scheme is aimed to support those pursuing this path to succeed both at the level of education attainment as well as contributing effectively towards the economy.

     

    Tertiary education forms an increasingly important part of any country’s economic and social agenda.  It also supplies a key element of many people’s continuing professional development. 

     

    The Tertiary Education Scholarships Scheme which aims to address the above objectives is financed by the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation in Malta.

  • The Arts Scholarship Scheme

    The Malta Arts Scholarships Scheme seeks to offer more chances for people with outstanding talent to develop professionally in the arts. Priority is given to theatre, music, dance, design, creative writing, film, visual arts, or any mix of those.

  • The Endeavour II Scholarships Scheme

    The ENDEAVOUR II Scholarships Scheme supports good quality tertiary

    education at Postgraduate Level at MQF Level 7 PT/DL/FT and to

    ensure that the Maltese labour market is supplied with the right individuals, in

    order to guarantee that it is in a better position to compete at an international

    level. The scheme is aimed to support those pursuing this path to succeed both at

    the level of education attainment as well as contributing effectively towards the

    economy.

    Postgraduate education forms an increasingly important part of any country’s

    economic and social agenda. It supplies a key element of many people’s

    continuing professional development.
