This application is to be used by organisations registered as a voluntary organisation with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations to be recognised and registered as a kennel club.

This process leads organisations registered as a voluntary organisation with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations to be recognised and registered as a kennel club.

Interested voluntary organisation registered with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations and have an affiliation with an internationally recognised kennel club. An organisation registered as a voluntary organisation with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations was set up for the purpose of establishing standards, organising competitions, and registering pedigree certificates by the date of publication of the Prohibition Of Breeding And Keeping of Non-Pedigree Bully Type Dog Regulations being the 6th August 2024 is exempted from being affiliated with an internationally recognised kennel club.

Documents Required:

1. Proof of affiliation with an internationally recognised kennel club *

2. Proof of registration with the Commissioner of Voluntary Organisations and scope of establishment of the voluntary organisation.

*Exempted if an organisation registered as a voluntary organisation with the Commissioner for Voluntary Organisations was set up for the purpose of establishing standards, organising competitions, and registering pedigree certificates by the date of publication of the Prohibition Of Breeding And Keeping Of Non-Pedigree Bully Type Dog Regulations being the 6th August 2024.
