Islands Cleanup Campaign

Overview

The Islands Cleanup Campaign administered by the Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Public Cleanliness (MEEC) welcomes private companies, schools, NGOs, community groups, and individuals interested in volunteering.


Participants will be provided with the necessary equipment, including gloves, bags, waste vehicles, and safety instructions to ensure a safe and efficient cleanup process.


The aim is to protect Malta’s valleys, coasts, and marine areas by reducing litter and pollution, while raising awareness about waste management and environmental protection.

Eligibility

This service is open to businesses, schools, NGOs, community groups, and individuals and to anyone committed to carrying out a responsible and organised cleanup around Malta.
