  • Documents - Submit (DSS)

    This service allows you to upload copies of documents requested by the Department of Social Security in a letter of notification to the claimant, known as a Call Letter. As a result, the Department of Social Security sends a Call Letter to the Claimant, to be informed of which additional documents are required to complete the processing of a submitted or a revision request application.

  • In-Work Benefit Calculator (DSS)

    The In-Work Benefit Calculator is an online tool provided by the Department of Social Security. It allows individuals to calculate an unofficial projection of the In-Work Benefit they may be eligible for. This service is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, ensuring that individuals can easily estimate their benefits.

  • Online Assist (DSS)

    Assistance is available for the mySocialSecurity online services app. Whether you need guidance on accessing an online service or have a suggestion to share, expert help is just a click away. You just need to book an appointment for a Microsoft Teams call. A knowledgeable member from the Information Management Unit team will provide assistance and answer any questions you may have.
     

  • Payments Dates (DSS)

    It is simple to find out when to anticipate receiving your benefit payments thanks to the calendar of social security benefits payments dates for the current year that is organized by categories.   • Personal Details (DSS)

    By utilising this service, individuals have the ability to access and view their personal information that is currently held by the Department of Social Security (DSS). However, it is important to note that personal information cannot be amended or edited through this service. This means that individuals should carefully review the information presented to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date.

  • Repay an Overpayment (DSS)

    Overpayments occur when the Department of Social Security (DSS) pays a beneficiary more social security benefits than was due, often because one's income, resources, marital status, living situation has changed or through an administrative error.

     

    Beneficiaries of social security benefits are required to inform the Director General (Social Security) of any changes in income, employment, living situation or marital status amongst others. A great number of overpayments are caused by beneficiaries who fail to do so. Be sure to keep the DSS informed on these changes, to avoid incurring inconvenient and potentially costly overpayments.

  • Report a Payment not Received (DSS)

    A beneficiary can submit a report that a Social Security Benefit Payment has not been received or credited, else request information according to the payment status linked to the different payment method types - Cheque, Direct Credit and Energy Credit.
