  • Social Security Contributions - Gaps (DSS)

    This service is intended to guide you to identify gaps in your social security contributions record and to take potential actions to address any gaps. Contributions made in the previous year will be displayed in December of the following year. The display categorises contributions into different classes:

     

    • Class 1 contributions and credits: These are for employed persons.
    • Class 2 and Class 3 contributions and credits: These are for self-occupied and self-employed persons, respectively.

     

    If after the age of sixteen (16), you were not gainfully employed, did not reside in Malta, or was officially exempted from paying social security contributions, it is normal that you will have missing social security contributions during these indicated periods.  

  • Social Security Contributions - Record (DSS)

    This service provides you with an overview of visibility of your social security contributions record through all your employment years, either as an employed, self-occupied or self-employed. Contributions made in the previous year will be displayed in December of the following year. The display categorises contributions into different classes:

     

    • Class 1 contributions and credits: These are for employed persons.
    • Class 2 and Class 3 contributions and credits: These are for self-occupied and self-employed persons, respectively.

     

    By using this service, you can easily track and verify your contributions and credits over the years, ensuring that your records are accurate and up-to-date.

  • Social Security Payments (DSS)

    This service is designed for Social Security beneficiaries who want to view and track their payments details. It provides a detailed and comprehensive view of all Social Security Payments received over the past five (5) years. Whether you receive payments by Cheque, Direct Credit or Energy Benefit Credit, this service allows you to easily access your payments history.

  • Statement of Earnings - FS3 (DSS)

    This service enables social security beneficiaries to issue a Statement of Earnings (FS3) for social security payments made in a specific year over the previous 5 years. Since this is an electronic document it does not require a signature.

  • Statement of No Earnings (DSS)

    This service enables citizens to issue a Statement from the Department of Social Security certifying that they did not receive any social security benefit payments for a specific year in the previous 5 years up to the date the statement was issued.

     

    Since this is an electronic document, it does not require a signature. The generated Statement is not an FS3 and cannot be used for tax purposes.

  • Statement of Payments Issued (DSS)

    This service is intended for social security beneficiaries who would like to generate a payments issued statement for social security benefits payments paid for a specific year for the past five (5) years. This statement is not an FS3 and hence cannot be used for tax purposes. Since this is an electronic document it does not require a signature.

  • Widow/er’s Pension Calculator (DSS)

    The Widow/er's Pension Calculator is an online tool provided by the Department of Social Security (DSS) Malta. It allows individuals to calculate an unofficial projection of the Widow/er's Pension they may be eligible for in the event of widowhood. This service is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, ensuring that users can easily estimate their potential widow/er pension.
