The Gozo Cultural Events Fund Scheme is a Ministry for Gozo measure for community-led creative and artistic activities in Gozo. It provides the opportunity for the development of artistic projects led by the community for the community, while celebrating cultural diversity. The fund is looking to co-finance projects which encourage active cultural participation, promote local talent and boost the community’s creative expression or appreciation of its identity

Gozo residents working in Malta are entitled to the subsidy issued by the Ministry for Gozo. 

Students’ resident in Gozo who are following full-time courses in Malta can apply for a Government subsidy. Each student will be required to complete a form and submit necessary documents at the beginning of each academic year.

Students resident in Malta who are following full-time courses in Gozo can apply for a Government subsidy. The subsidy of €500 per quarter is granted during the academic year, i.e. from October to June and will cover 3-month periods (October to December; January to March; and April to June). Each student will be required to complete a form at the beginning of each academic year.

The Ministry for Gozo invites artists/organisers/organisations/NGOs who would like to organise an activity or event within the public spaces, to express their interest and present a brief proposal. Proposals will need to be approved by the Ministry for Gozo. These will be allocated on a first come, first served basis after due consideration of the proposal.

The Ministry for Gozo is inviting the general public and/or voluntary organisations to organise clean-up events around Gozo. The Ministry will be supporting such clean up events by providing materials and other support that may be required.

All persons with fields in Gozo that are registered with the Front Office Rural Gozo (ex FOPA/IACS) are eligible to apply for this scheme.

This scheme aims to support accommodation operators in Gozo in the local/international promotion of the island as a holiday destination through digital marketing.
