  • Declaration of Number of Residents (Form H)

    The purpose of this form is to register a change in the number of persons residing in a premises. These persons will receive a subsidy on water consumption and also eco-reduction on electricity on their bills. ARMS Ltd are to be informed whenever there is a change in the number of persons so that bills issued after the date of submission reflect the correct number of persons. 

  • Declaration of Service which is not in Regular Use (Form M)

    Declaration of service which is not in regular use.
  • Difficulties Outside My Property

    This service allows individuals to report a fault which is outside of their property.

  • Domestic Cisterns Restoration Scheme

    The Domestic Cisterns Restoration scheme is administered by the Regulator for Energy and Water Services to further encourage the harvesting and use of rainwater in the domestic sector. This scheme is funded through national funds and applies to private individuals (natural persons) for use on their residential properties, and for organisations that are not carrying out an economic activity.

    This scheme has been further extended to 31st December 2026 as per
    Government Notice 2030 of Year 2025.
     
  • Double Glazing Scheme for Birzebbugia Residents

    The scope of this scheme is to aid those households in specific areas of Birżebbuġa that are in close proximity to the Freeport, so as to replace any external facing apertures which are antiquated or inefficient and change them to better sound insulating ones.

    This scheme provides a grant of up to 90% of the eligible costs.

  • Electricity Power Factor Correction (Form Ee)

    Through this facility heavy consumers of electricity are encouraged to improve their operating power factor. By improving their power factor they reduce the transmission losses and hence benefit from preferential tariffs. The tariff applicable with such installation is based on kVAh (Kilovolt-amper hour).
  • Electricity Service Alteration (Shift Physical Location; Change from/to Single to Three Phase)(Form Be)

    To increase or decrease the power supplied to a premises or to shift the physical location of an electricity service. In the case of shifting, electricity services should be located close to the entrance of a premises.

  • Electricity Service Removal (Form Ce)

    Termination of service. Disconnection of supply and removal of the electricity meter.
  • Electricity Test or Change of Meter (Form He)

    Changing or testing the accuracy of the electricity meter. A justification of the request should be provided on the application form. If the meter is found to be registering incorrectly, customer is entitled to a revision of electricity invoices going back to a maximum of 5 years. The applicant can choose to witness the testing of the meter. A charge of €70 which is refundable if upon testing, the meter is found to be outside a tolerance of limit of ±2.5%.

  • Energy and Water Awareness Household Visits

    The Energy and Water Agency has been offering an on-going service to the public by conducting house visits during which, assessments on the electricity and water consumption patterns at the individual households are carried out.
    During these visits, EWA officials provide invaluable information and give professional advice to conserve energy and water. To-date, since 2015, around 4000 such visits have been carried out.
